  1. Bro, are you kidding me?! I didn't realize it was so easy. Great tip. now if only I could upgrade the RAM on my macbook pro … haha 16GB isn't going to cut it for very much longer.

  2. Awesome! Could you kindly run Geekbench 4? I’m trying to decide between this set and Kingston HyperX.

Thanks! Love it when people share things like this. Some of us need every little bit of power we can squeeze out 🙂 No need to post comparisons or anything. Just your current scores are cool.

  3. Does this work on the new 2017 iMac? Guys at Apple Store said it's soldered in and guys at Canada Computer said they don't have the Ram for the new 2017 model.

  4. Hi! Just a heads up. I seemed to have put the hatch back in upside down (I think) and then the iMac wouldn't start. Tried it three times. Flipped it 180° and it all worked just fine. You wouldn't think that this should matter, and I'm not SURE this was the reason but anyways, just a heads up, be sure to put it back the way it's supposed to be placed.

  5. did it helped?? I thought my 8GB is good enough for now but after making about 20videos my imac slowed down and I cant see smoothly the videos on FCPX while editing… Is it because of my memory which is 8GB?

  6. My 27inch 2017 i5 sucks at previewing pictures from an SD card. I should have got the damn i7. But now I’m going to upgrade the ram to see if it helps.

  7. And the DickHeads at the Mac store wanted my Mac for three days not to mention the cost involved. I just ordered from your link. You deserve my business. Good job man.

  8. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS LINK FOR YOUR IMAC!! RAM SOLD HERE IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH IMAC (notebook memory) AND WILL CAUSE YOU IMAC TO TURN OFF RANDOMLY OR KILL IT. ONE OF THE TWO WILL HAPPEN! BUY FROM CRUCIAL.

  9. Do you have to do anything to protect the RAM against your body's static electricity, or is that precaution in the past?
