Whirlpool Refrigerator Repair – How to Replace the End Cap (Whirlpool # WP2156007)

“Hi, it’s Steve. Today, we’d like to show you how to replace
the door trim end cap on your refrigerator. It’s a really easy repair. Let me show you how we do it. To do this repair, we’ll open the refrigerator
up. We’ll remove any items that are on that lower
shelf. We’ll lift the trim away from the liner. To replace the end cap, we’ll first of all
make sure that the end of that trim is not damaged. You may want to just depress the metal just
a bit so that it grips the two little stops on that end cap. Just slide that into place. Make sure the little tabs fit into those slotted
openings. Now we’re ready to put that trim piece back
into the refrigerator. We’ll open the door up, line it up in the
grooves on the liner, press it down into place, and your repair is complete.”
